Questions and Information on the Open Source Musick Projekt

We are One and as each a point of awareness, we are equal
Q: Hello, can you tell me more about the project?
A: Hi,
This is at present just an idea and it requires the participation of those that agree with it for it to have any physical substance.
The idea is that consciousness is non-local and anything that we draw from it is collective anyway. In an attempt to isolate us from each other and from our expression we have been indoctrinated to believe we are special and unique and original.
While this is true in some respects, ownership and intellectual ownership of songs and music for the sake of mass-corporate marketing and money making for fat cats to get fatter, does not mix with the reality that consciousness is non-local.
Our expression once isolated and put on a CD in a three minute song is then copyrighted by a corporation and sold by the millions with artists getting a pittance and mass marketed lyrics written by ten people trying to evoke sex and appetite in every line to pour capital into Sonys coffers.
We must take our expression back and give music back to the people.
If a song represents a people it IS the people's - it is THEIR song. My idea for using Copyright The Open Musick Projekt 2015 [or respective year].. Is possibly a failsafe against people in the 'music' industry wanting to pick the music up and make a buck. There are others that frontier the idea of Open Source Music. This is the first I know of that admits consciousness is non-local and therefore nothing can be owned.
Thanks, Montego Ikarus

Write it down, get it out and spread it out, far and wide
Q: What about recognition? What about me making a living out of my music? What about my music staying mine and being mine because I made it?
A: Expression in the authentic sense, only happens in the moment. And by this, in the moment it is being expressed. When I sing a song - any song - in THAT moment it is MINE. I cannot lay claim to anything outside of the moment that I control. No one ever can. The moment in the future or the moment in the past, by definition do not exist and can only exist by coercion in an agreed system of time which generates hierarchy and extended realms of control.

It is time we stopped being little children in the sense that we must purify our expression and stop trying to own everything in a MINE MINE MINE sort of way, as if we can own eternally the future or the past of all expression your or my human physical body may have done.
If we really are serious about our music, well, in the moment, our music is our music and no one can ever take that away from you.
I can make money on the street busking, I could make CDs to sell on the street as well. But I do not lay claim to my music outside the domain of authentic expression.
If you want to be recognized for something, be recognized for remaining in the moment and harnessing the energy that people around you give freely so you can give them in return what they require to push forward in that moment.
We are the troubadours of old, let us purify this spiritual practice. We are energy workers of a kind and we have been doing this work throughout the millenia.
Are you a robotic repeater that triggers familiar songs and rhythms to make a buck or are you a master of the universe that lives eternally within and as the ever present singular moment that inhabits everything?

Q: What is music about to you then?

Write music with feel, let your energy be free, learn that constricting energy with competition and industry actually destroys feel, which is what makes musick.

LIVE musick is music, whoever is singing in that moment is making music.

We make a recording of music into musick to us, by putting our energy into it, by putting our feel into it. Without our participation in it, it is a dead thing. Musick that is LIVE and expressed in the moment as if this is the only thing in existence is Real Musick because it is Alive.

And living musick gives life to everyone.

Take down the industry of dead music.

Write something, start with what you know and work from t'here'

Q: I'm not a songwriter and I rely on other people to put words to my emotions, I can still put feel into my music regardless but I'd like to start writing. How do I get started?

If you want to start writing but haven't got the confidence yet - TRY THIS -
1. Feel the song (if you don't feel it, don't do it).
2. Empathize with the intent/starting point of the song and feel yourself in that position (or change it according to something that you can feel it for - eg, I sing Folsom Prison Blues from the perspective that first world life and all its boxes is really just a fluffed up style of fancy prison for higher class slaves - that may not be what you feel, but it works for me to make it something that is authentic in my expression).
3. Write.
4. Sing and make it rote (repeat until you don't need to read it).
5. Put your own feel into it, every time you perform.
6. When performing don't be frightened you will forget lyrics or sing the wrong thing, improvise! In the moment sing what is true for you, and if you are feeling it, the words come!

Trust yourself and your expression.

Feeling has been made into something dirty and naughty by society but real musick utilises feeling and the ability to touch someone without using your hands.

Q: You speak a lot about 'feel'. I don't understand. What is feel, how do I 'feel' in music?
Express unconditionally what you want to sing from the bottom of your heart and feel will come.

Express the ability to touch other people physically but with musick instead. And this doesn't just mean sex but emotion, love, embrace, intimacy, truth - sing so others literally feel what you are singing and/or why you are singing it.

Trust yourself and feel will come. Music without feel is just a repetition. This is the different between LIVE music and a recording. But just because it is LIVE does not mean it is felt. Feeling is had within the moment and its expression is timeless.

Upperclass - Open Source Musick release

Here is another Open Source Musick Projekt (fb.com/theOSMProjekt)Release.

With love.

Chords and Lyrics =

Verse Chords: E G A B C G F
Chorus Chords: E A => G B

Upper Class

Upper middle-class how long will your wealth be safe
I wonder
You hold just enough capital collectively
to start the ball rolling on something serious
Or will you wait in safeness for your safeness to be plucked from you
and say goodbye
say goodbye to all the good reasons you like Bohemian Freo

Chorus:
We are demons and we have no control
And control is our opium, yeah                    x2

Oh future free people
Won’t you let go of the past
What we remember is what we repeat
The path that you focus on is the path that lights up
And it’s the path you repeat
War is now necessary
We’re bound to compete
Competitions’ bonds sold for every soul deceased
Reap your rewards now before the ripe time
Everybody dies in the end

Chorus

Oh audience of Freo
Won’t you look up at the sky and see the stars in your eyes
The earth is moving in a corkscrew fashion
We are never in the same place twice
The manner of each new moment is a new beginning
And every closing meme a necessary end
Won’t you look up to what will become
Because we’ve given it the space to be what it is

Chorus  x 2

Please replace 'Freo' with your chosen town or city that used to be a bohemian hotspot full of colour and life but is now a gentrified dungeon run by an upper middle class legion of zombies.

Freo referred to Fremantle, Western Australia.

Please share, edit, sing on the streets!

As I am.

Thanks,

Monty

Love Shit - Raw Acoustic

"Throw out the government!
Burn the Banks!"

To a nice jazzy arrangement.

Check out this new song written by Montego Ikarus released under The Open Source Musick Projekt (fb.com/theOSMProjekt)

Sound cloud -

LYRICS and CHORDS =

Chords - I'm playing in Eb tuning, can be played in normal tuning just fine. the main chord for this is Am7 which drops to Abm7 occasionally. I fiddle with this variation for the verse bits. The chorus goes from D7 to C7 and then back to Am7. The little solo bit after the first 'Love Shit' before the song gets real drags it up from G7 up to Am7 after the C7. Muck around with it, add sevenths and jazzy chords here and there and you've got the song. Any questions just comment please.

Love Shit

This is the story of a girl
Her name is Lorelei
She convinced me I needed love
Or I would die

She had so much love to give
Out of thin air, love she made, Believe
She owns all my love
She is love’s inventor

Saved me from the meat market push and shove, yes she did
Saved me from the meat market push and shove, oh yeah
Then like a contract from the devil
She made me sign a pact
To owe her love back to a level
What to do with love’s die cast

This debt accrues with interest
She is the only one that can beset
Interest perpetually accumulates on interest
Creating an infinitely unpayable debt

What will it be, love struck folly
Deep love – deeper love – love slave … or deep shit
[guitar solo]
(This is a very different story
And I’m about to tell it to you now)

Lorelei is the bank that owns the world
Her love is the money that enslaves the people
It can never be paid back
Because the self-created source is not generous
(but spiteful and brooding)

To stop the cycle
That won’t stop until you act
One, love your neighbour
Two, burn the banks
And teach your children to produce as well as consume
Take control and run money as the people
Fat cats sit on their wealth
Dragons sleep on gold
They both know something we don’t
Only a select few can live and not be sold

Poverty and pain
Is inevitable and even necessary
To maintain the status quo
Of the current economic reign

Throw out the government
Burn the banks
They’re giving thin air for your blood
sweat and tears

Money is not good enough
Money cannot breathe
It’s not even good enough for a rag to wipe (something I can't say in front of the kids)
Deep love – deeper love – love slave – love *poop*

Deep love – deeper love – love slave – love *poop*

======

Please sing this loud on the streets EVERYWHHERE!

As I am!

Thanks,

Monty

Sovereignty and Acknowledgement of our Animal Self

Aboriginal Australians standing for their sovereignty at the Aboriginal Tent Embassy Canberra, in front of old parliament house
Magna Carta (copied from the Magna Carta project website)
38 No bailiff is in future to put anyone to law by his accusation alone, without trustworthy witnesses being brought in for this.
39 No free man is to be arrested, or imprisoned, or disseised, or outlawed, or exiled, or in any other way ruined, nor will we go against him or send against him, except by the lawful judgment of his peers or by the law of the land.
===
This clause is not about democracy as many presently believe. It is about Sovereignty and collective-sovereign respect of each other's Sovereignty.
To assess this as a meaning or origin for democracy is to put freedom under law = legitimised slavery.
I understand this translation:
I, a self-declared Sovereign (I have this capacity to declare because I am Sovereign), provided I choose to understand the following as a law which governs my kingdom (the human physical body I possess which I deem be named or unnamed) am not to harm other Sovereigns willfully; If I do, I am subject to the collective judgement of other Sovereigns who by their collective-will decide or create the law or non-law which governs me.
At present, the law is 'understood' (stood under) by slaves believing they are sovereign (believing they have the capacity for freewill); that Is, law made by a parliament under the veil of 'democracy'. This pseudo-democracy is largely controlled by inhibitions unknown to the pseudo-sovereign who are conditioned from childhood through the media and socially acceptable behaviour, using the animal-mind or group-mind, filling it with convenient pre-recorded options, to provide the impression free-will exists.
To enforce true democracy now, is to enforce the conditioning already preset in the sub-conscious mind of the slave majority as law. The masters maintain their status only by the consent of the slave. The slave majority presently understand laws and masters as unchangeable parameters.
Fear of Death sits at the bottom of the control mechanism.
We are animals, herded as animals, trained as animals, made to believe we are more than animal - therefore we fail to see the capacity to which we are controlled because our territorial self, our arrogance, our ego, is linked to an irrational heightened sense of self worth that has been trained into us since birth.
We must acknowledge the earth before we can stand on it knowingly -- then we can use it as a steady reference for seeing and acting on real reality -- a co-subjective fusion of sovereign identity.
I am a human physical body.
I breathe.

boxed xx

A box

This is not freedom.
But it is more freedom than others have.
My journeys have forced me to consider a true and pure definition of freedom that can't be lived easily in a human body.
It is dependent on many factors of environment and personal ability to act - personal willingness to do.
Self drive, determination.

I sit in a flat that is one of 4 two story townhouse flats in a grouping.
I listen to the mow of a lawn.
Every person progressively, as if by rote, takes out their mower (or other whizzing device) one after the other so the neighbourhood environment is not ever without a buzzing sound.
They get out their piece of machinery, each of them has their own, a version of the same thing, designed to fail eventually so they buy another one -
and manicure their few square metres of lawn and/or garden.
This seems to give a sense of completion to the people.

I'm an alien from another reality, that is why I speak as such.
My original birth was in a vacuum and then, I did not inhabit a body.
But that is another story and it cannot be extended upon here.

Every one has their box, which they live within, within which is a box which they watch and a flattish fluffy box, which they sleep upon.
A box to keep food in. A box to wash clothes in. A box to keep dishes in and chop vegetables on. A box to heat things up to a sufficient temperature to cook them.
And boxes to isolate the boxes within the box from each other so as to create the illusion of privacy of having your own box.

Is this freedom?
No.

Is this real?
Well, it has been made into a reality. Only because we have focused upon something like this, possibly without the direct intention to make this, but this has been made.

There is a very good reason why you may be feeling boxed in.

Everything is white, like a white sterile prison, it echoes. Like the void I was birthed within. The void was not a nice place, why do we recreate it here?

To some it is a palace.

To me, it is an inorganic dungeon filled with things.

Damn things.

Damn you, things.

I can get up and walk away, and disown every thing at a moment's notice. This is what I've done and I've learned a lot from it. Now I wish to help other's discard things.

Discard possessions. What you own, possesses you... one big wise man might say, well he's right. You want something? - you are it - you are just an interim of that thing at present if you don't perceive 'owning' the thing yet. But want is real. Want is.

That is how it tricks us.

It makes us believe we don't have this 'thing' we want. But by wanting it, we have it. By believing we don't have it and then go on a path to 'have' it, we create time.

Time is pressed out into little jots on a screen and money is generated. The people are enslaved to time. Money is just a translation of that time.

How foreboding... but what to do with such information? Act? How does one act with the realisation that time is the essence of our chains that restrict us from freedom?

I don't know. I don't 'have' the answer.

Extra verse for Zombie by the Cranberries

Thank slate.com for this photo which was accompanied by the following caption, "Why the zombie boom is really about the economic fears of white-collar workers."
I claim no rights to this song. I've just written an extra verse to it as part of the Open Source Musick Projekt. Which if sang alone without the other verses with its own chord variations and slightly different melody,  is lawfully a different song.
===
Another loving human, trained to kill, dies needlessly
To fight rich men's war, protect their toys, how are we being fooled?

It's the same greedy man since all of this began
In your heads, in your heads,  they're controlling
With democracy, nationalism, statism, and their media
In your head,  in your head, the war is fighting

It's in your heads, in your heads
Zombie, Zombie, Zombie    x2
===
Enjoy it. Have fun.  And make it yours.  Shout it out on the street,  share it with others.
Love,
Monty
